I don’t know, the whole setup just felt kind of all over the place to me. The menus weren’t clicking, and I kept ending up stuck without really understanding what I was supposed to do next. It gave me a bad feeling overall, especially as someone who isn’t super experienced with this stuff.

I was hoping this would be decent, but mine arrived with a couple loose panels and some rough edges that made it feel poorly put together. At first I was like, okay maybe it’s just minor stuff — nope, it’s annoying. Not really impressed.

I’m disappointed with my order. The setup was more annoying than it should’ve been, and when I reached out to support, it took forever to hear back. Even then, it kind of felt like nobody had actually read my message because the reply didn’t really address what I was asking. For the price, I expected a much smoother experience. Just didn’t feel worth it.

My Monport laser is decent when it’s actually running, but it hasn’t been very dependable for me. I’ve had a few random stops and little issues that needed fixing, which gets frustrating fast. The bigger problem is support has been slow to respond, so I’ve felt kind of left in the dark trying to figure out what’s going on and how to keep it working.

"Pretty frustrating ordering experience"
I tried placing an order on monportlaser.com, and it was kind of a hassle. The checkout kept seeming to glitch or act strange, and my confirmation email took what felt like way longer than it should have, maybe close to an hour or so. I reached out to support, but they weren’t really able to help much. Overall, it just left a bad impression, and I probably won’t order from them again.

"My Monport laser works really well with..."
My Monport laser works really well with LightBurn, which was the biggest thing I cared about. Setup wasn’t too bad, but I did have to mess with a few settings before it connected properly. Once I got that sorted out, it ran smoothly. I’m taking off one star because the instructions could be a lot clearer, especially for newer users like me.

"Honestly, it just didn’t feel worth it"
I was really hoping this would be better, especially for the price, but I ended up feeling disappointed. It just felt like I paid way too much for what I actually got. Maybe my expectations were higher because of the cost, but it left me feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth.

The box showed up smashed and the packaging was torn up and messy. I get that shipping can be rough sometimes, but it’s frustrating when you’re basically forced to be patient and just hope everything inside is okay

Getting this thing up and running was such a headache. It took way longer than I thought it would, and the instructions had me going, like, wait... what am I supposed to do now?? I reached out to support too, but they didn’t really clear things up much...

"Getting replacement parts was frustrating"
I bought my machine from Monport and eventually needed a replacement part, but getting one turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. It wasn’t easy to figure out where to find the right part, and when I reached out to support, I didn’t get a clear answer as quickly as I’d hoped. I ended up waiting around and checking other places while the machine just sat there unusable. it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed

"They Took Forever to Ship It"
I’m annoyed at this point. I placed my order and somehow it still hasn’t shown up. Shipping is taking forever, and it feels like they just don’t care once they have your money.

"Support was frustrating"
My experience with Monport support was rough. I wouldn’t say the product is necessarily bad for everyone, but if you end up needing help like I did, it can get really frustrating. Replies took a long time, and when they finally came in, they didn’t really answer what I was asking. It felt like I kept explaining the same issue and not getting anywhere. Because of that, I personally wouldn’t buy from them again

"I bought this mostly for engraving wood..."
I bought this mostly for engraving wood and acrylic, the results have been disappointing. The lines come out uneven, with some areas burning way too dark, and other spots barely showing up at all. I tried slowing it down, cleaning the lens, and messing with the settings, but it still looks the same. Support replied, but it was just basic settings, nothing that actually fixed the issue.

"Setup shouldn’t be this confusing"
I really wanted to give this a fair shot, but the manual made the setup way more confusing than it needed to be. I still couldn’t get it working right, which is frustrating. For something people are paying for, it feels like the least they could do is provide clear, helpful instructions.

"Warranty fix came through"
Had an issue and reached out about the warranty. It took a few days to get sorted, which was a little annoying, but they did end up fixing it under warranty. So yeah, it worked out

I had an issue with my order and it took a few back-and-forth messages before everything was finally sorted out. To be fair, support did respond and they did fix it, so I appreciate that. I just feel like it could’ve been faster and a little clearer from the start, you know? Overall it was okay, but I don’t think I’m wrong for wishing the process had been smoother

"Not totally sure, but the safety side felt off"
I might be overthinking it, but the safety features didn’t really give me much confidence. The instructions were kind of confusing, and while I can’t say for sure that anything was actually wrong, I just didn’t feel comfortable using it.

"Decent for the price, I guess"
It cuts okay for basic stuff, which is more than I expected, honestly. On thicker wood, though, it definitely struggles and the cuts don’t always come out as clean as I’d like. Fine if you’re not too picky

"Pretty solid overall, with a tiny catch"
I’ve been using this and it does cut really cleanly, which is the main thing I was hoping for. It feels sturdy in the hand too, not cheap or flimsy, so that’s a plus. I wouldn’t say it’s absolutely perfect or anything, there’s just a little room for improvement somehow, but overall I’m happy with it and it does what I need.

"Not gonna lie, the accessories were disappointing"
Not gonna lie, I was disappointed with the accessories. They felt cheap right out of the box and didn’t really fit the way they should. One piece broke quickly, which made the whole setup way more frustrating than I expected.
